Hailing from Québec, Canada, Isabelle Gasse discovered her artistic path at just 16, thanks to an encouraging art teacher who urged her to enter a local amateur snow sculpting competition. Since then, she has quickly risen through the ranks of the professional snow and ice sculpting world, shaping her frosty visions at international events—including the famed Ice Hotels of Québec and Sweden—and earning multiple awards along the way.
In 2021, Isabelle made the bold move from snowsuit to sandals, trading her ice-carving tools for a beach sculptor's kit. She now brings her refined, imaginative style to sand sculpting events across North America and Europe.
Her monumental, ephemeral sculptures are a poetic tribute to the world's beautifully complex simplicity. With a background in both sculpture and film production—two disciplines she has studied and built careers in—Isabelle has developed a conceptual, storytelling approach to her art, blending emotion with surrealism to craft powerful, visual narratives.
