“When I was young, I hated sand between my toes—now I couldn't live without it.”

Edith's journey into the world of sculpting began during her architecture studies at the Technical University, where she first encountered sand as a creative medium. What started as a casual hobby—joining the Sand Sculpture Festival in Scheveningen—quickly grew into a full-blown passion.

For over 20 years now, Edith has traveled the globe, creating breathtaking sculptures in sand, snow, and ice. Blending her architectural background with artistic expression, she transforms temporary materials into unforgettable works of art that captivate audiences worldwide.
