Brian Wigelsworth
Sarasota, Florida
Siesta Key’s own Master Sand Sculptor, Brian is the creator of the Siesta Key Crystal Classic International Sand Sculpting Festival. He has a long background in commercial design and illustration and applies it well to his creations in sand for international competitions, corporate events, retail and trade show displays, fairs and festivals. Brian has designed and implemented, with a team of artists, some unusual sculptures, including a 5-foot high, 70-foot-long sculpture used as a catwalk with a 14-foot backdrop, for a Margaritaville Clothing fashion show…twice. Brian enjoys creating photo-ops sculptures for event fundraisers. When it comes to sand sculpting, he loves to think outside the sandbox.
